HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
I care deeply about my patients. I will take the time to listen to your story, understand what is important to you, and develop a plan together to get you back on your feet. Find out more about my specialties under the "Services" section.
DETERMINING A DIAGNOSIS
The first, and most important part of our evaluation is obtaining a thorough medical history, focusing on the problem you’re experiencing now. Next, I will obtain X-rays in our office to evaluate your bones and joints. I will review these with you so that you understand exactly what is going on. When necessary, I may also order an MRI or CT scan to further evaluate and diagnose your problem.
DEVELOPING A TREATMENT PLAN
I always prefer to start out with conservative, non-surgical treatment options. This may include physical therapy, medications, injections, bracing, activity modification, or other modalities. If all else fails, surgery is an option – I have extensive expertise in general orthopedic surgery such as fracture fixation and arthroscopy, with a special interest in minimally invasive hip and knee replacements.
PLANNING SURGERY & RECOVERY
I am extremely dedicated to providing the absolute best care to all of my patients. You and your recovery are my highest priority. My outstanding team of physician's assistants and medical assistants will also put you and your needs first. Post-op patients can always be seen by me or one of my PAs in the office any time during normal business hours. We also have a provider on call 24/7 to answer any urgent surgical questions you may have along the way (860-685-8940).
